You Are Not A Disappointment

Do you ever feel inadequate? Alone? Disappointed with where you are in your life? Don't lost heart, and do not lose hope. God has a plan for your life. He created you, and He didn't make a mistake. He says you are His child, and His love is unconditional. He is not looking for us to impress him with our talents, our abilities, or our achievements. He's not looking for performance. He's looking for a humble heart, that is surrendered to Him. He knows best, and He loves you so much more than anyone else ever could. Put your hope and trust in Him. When you follow the perfect example of His son Jesus, His love and strength is made perfect in our weakness. You are never a disappointment to Him. His grace and forgiveness do not expire, and your sin is never greater than His grace. Don't give up on yourself. He has not, and never will give up on you.

In Matthew 20:16 the Bible says "So the last will be first, and the first will be last.” How can we learn from this? Take heart in knowing that whether you're first or last, if you trust God and put your faith in Him, He is positioning you with a bigger purpose in mind. It could be a time where He is developing you in different ways so that when the true, best opportunity comes your way, you'll be positioned exactly where you need to be. His thoughts and His ways are higher than ours. Stay faithful and trust that He has the best for you.

It's easy to love those who love you, but what about the guy who cuts you off in traffic? What about the person that says something about you behind your back? There are endless examples of situations when it is difficult to show love and grace to someone, but digging deeper and choosing to love someone can make all the difference. You may just help someone realize that they need to be better, or you may literally save their life because they thought nobody loved them.
God loves us unconditionally, and He proved it by sending His son to die for our sins. Accept His free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, and love others as yourself. In Matthew 22:37 Jesus says "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.””

Peace can be a lifestyle, it can be a way of life that God has for us. He sent His son, who is called The Prince of Peace, so that through knowing Him we can know true peace.
In John 14:27 Jesus says "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
We encourage you to put all of your trust in Jesus and have faith that His peace is greater than anything this world has to offer.

It can be easy to mistake God's silence for absence, but He is always with us and wants the very best for us. We have to understand that His timetable is eternal and His will is divine. Sometimes we can't understand even a fraction of what He is doing, when He's doing it, or why He's doing it. But His ways are so much higher than our ways and His thoughts are so much higher than our thoughts. It takes patience on our part. And that's difficult because it takes time and trust.
When we don't have trust in God's plans for us it can be so easy to settle for counterfeits and knockoffs: knockoff relationships, knockoff dreams, knockoff opportunities. You may not even realize that you're settling in different areas of your life right now, but God's plan for your life is so beyond "settling" for anything: it's a life of purpose, fulfillment, hope, peace, joy, and love.

When you seek God's plan for your day, He prepares you and equips you with love, compassion, self-control, peace, and joy that can be contagious to those around you. He wants to be a part of your day from the smallest decisions to the biggest ones because he loves you so much!
When you put your spotlight on Jesus, He shines so bright that all of your problems and worries fall into the shadow of His greatness in your life. Put Him first, and use prayer as your steering wheel not your spare tire.
